One Objective Selection Process — Two Clear Payment Models
We evaluate boarding academies and custom 'club + private coach + school' setups in a single objective process — with no hidden markups; the academy commission is a conflict of interest we disclose in writing and manage. Who pays for our launch work depends solely on the route you choose.
When a partner boarding academy is the right fit for your player’s age and goals, our work is covered by the chosen academy’s standard marketing budget. Your tuition fee is unchanged, and we disclose the exact commission to the family in writing before you sign.
If a custom "club + private coach + school" setup fits better (where no academy pays a commission), the family pays directly for assembling the setup, relocation, and season oversight. If you already hold a direct academy offer and commissioned an offer review (900–1,200 €), its fee is fully credited against any paid service, including a club + private coach route.

Insider in Spain
Lives in Spain and runs international football academy programmes. Accompanies professional tennis player Pavel Kotov (career-high ATP No. 50, 2024) at tournaments in Spain (working in the player's box alongside coach Mikhail Bril, including Center Court at Caja Mágica). Former professional goalkeeper in the Latvian top division.

Directly guides his 12-year-old daughter: 5th competitive season across Spain — regular FTM (Federación de Tenis de Madrid), Rafa Nadal Tour, Warriors Tour, Spanish National Championships, and Tennis Europe tournaments.
Academies checked first-hand
Training bases in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Málaga, and Marbella inspected from the inside: actual coaches on court, group ratios, and daily player conditions.
By Your Side All Season
Relocating to another country involves much more than selecting an academy. A new school, different language, unfamiliar tournament circuit, and initial months without your usual support network. I help navigate all of this on the ground, guiding the process alongside the family.
Settling into a New Environment
Initial weeks: navigating school systems, healthcare, local transport, and daily logistics — who to contact and in what order. Helping the family and player feel at home faster.
Making the Right Choice
Academy, coach, format, city — analyzing options on substantive merit rather than marketing claims. If a non-academy route fits you better, I will say so directly.
Structuring the Tournament Calendar
Planning the season collaboratively with the coach: regional and national Spanish events, Tennis Europe, ITF Juniors. Balancing match play, training, schooling, rest, tournament entries, and travel logistics.
Calibrating Training Volume
Coordinating with coaches and medical staff: if load or growth-related pain becomes a concern, we arrange a specialist assessment and follow up that the plan is applied. Medical decisions are made by doctors and physiotherapists.
Overseeing the Process
Attending practice sessions and tournaments, maintaining direct contact with coaches and school staff, and promptly flagging anything that departs from plan.
Keeping the Family Informed
Regular feedback to parents in English, Spanish, or Russian: progress updates, adjustments needed, and upcoming decisions.

Pictured on Center Court at Caja Mágica (match vs. Jannik Sinner): accompanying Pavel Kotov’s team in Spain alongside coach Mikhail Bril. Knowing the pro tour from the inside lets us cut through academy marketing and coordinate calendars with the coaching staff for players aged 12–18.
Full-Boarding Academy vs. Custom Setup in Spain
Both formats work well in Spain when matched to the right age and stage of development. A large boarding academy gives autonomous 15–18 players high-volume sparring and team tournament travel, while a custom setup (club + private coach + accredited school + living with family) often gives 12–15 players tighter technical focus and smoother family adaptation.
→ On our initial call, we compare both routes against your player's age, autonomy, and family plans. If a partner boarding academy is the stronger athletic fit, we place you there for 0 €; if a custom club + private coach setup serves your child better, we build it on the ground.

5 Operational Details Not Fixed in Standard Academy Brochures
What we verify on court and clarify in writing before a family commits 45,000–75,000 € for the season:
Assigned Group Coach vs. Academy Director
Academy directors oversee methodology, while daily court work is led by specific unit coaches. We verify in advance which exact coach will run your child's group and their involvement on court.
Seasonal Court Ratios (Autumn vs. Spring Peak)
A trial week in November often has 2 players per court, whereas spring clay season brings higher occupancy. We clarify maximum players-per-court caps for your specific training tier.
School Accreditation & Diploma Recognition
Whether the campus uses an on-site international school or a distance-learning platform, we verify official homologation (British, US, or Spanish Bachillerato) so the academic year is fully recognized.
Full-Season Budget Beyond Base Tuition
Base boarding tuition rarely includes weekend tournament coach travel, individual sparring, stringing, or sports recovery. We calculate the true all-in season budget (+8,000–15,000 €) upfront.
Injury Pause & Mid-Season Exit Terms
Annual contracts often carry strict payment schedules. Before signing, we review medical pause provisions, credit carry-overs, and exit terms in case of growth-phase injuries or format changes.
Based on our on-site checks and contract reviews across Spanish academies.
Already received a direct offer or contract from an academy? Send it for a pre-deposit verification (900–1,200 € — fully credited against any paid service, including a club + private coach route).

Residence routes (non-lucrative, international telework), city choice, schools for siblings, housing.
Growth spurt and pain mid-season
